We loved the property! This was our favorite stay during our trip. The cabin had a lovely design and the kitchen was well appointed for cooking in. Everything we needed was in waking distance and a local hot spring was a very short drive, we went twice!

We had a good time at this spacious and well equipped appartment. It was very clean and the communication with the host went very smoothly. Stekkar appartment is a good starting point for exploring the nearby touristical highlights such as Dynjandi waterfall, Rauđisandur beach and Látrabjarg cliffs. We highly recommend a visit of Selárdalur and Samúel Jónsson's art farm.

She has put her personal touch on the guesthouse that gives it a home kind of feeling. Everywhere was very clean and nicely decorated. Helga gave us a tip about where locals go to a "secret" hot spring bath and was in every way helpful.

The are secluded from eachother within shrubs separated by clearly marked pathways which is nice. There was alot of space for a family of 4. The cabin kitchen was stocked decently and had basic amenities for cooking. The beds were comfortable and clean. The hot tub was also a nice perk that we enjoyed. The host was quick to respond to give us the key code when we arrived.

The location is great if you want to be more or less equally close to Isafjordur, Latrabjarg,, and the ferry to Olafsvik in Snaefellsness. Everybody leaves their outdoor shoes right at the entrance, which is nice. There's a fridge for the guests' use.
