We stayed at Kilindi for 4 nights for our Honeymoon and are still without words. Kilindi exceeded our expectation in every regard & if we could give more than 10/10 we would. We were on an all-inclusive package, so delicious food (everything was so so so good & fresh) & great drinks all day (You have to try the Tropical Octopus Salad!). The entire property was beautiful - very natural, flowers, butterflies, covered in jungle forest where you frequently saw playful monkeys, lizards & the rare elephant shrews (so adorable!). Service was fantastic throughout. The Villas were beautiful and set far apart, so each occupant had their privacy. The design was absolutely gorgeous! 2 private plunge pools, a beautiful veranda to watch the sunsets, a comfy lounge area and a beautiful separate open bathroom. Our personal Butler Salum read each wish from our eyes and made our entire stay so special by surprising us with beautiful dinner options each day, bringing us breakfast & cocktails to our Villa & being super friendly but still very professional. One of our highlights was our private dinner on the beach with own exquisite Seafood BBQ prepared by Chef Emmanuel. The entire Management was really great! Andre was super approachable and was very helpful, professional but also hands-on. The beach is beautifully secluded in a dreamy fisherman's bay with honeymoon-grade beach furniture. The Spa treatments are absolutely fantastic (you must try the Zanzibar Sprice journey)! Self-speaking, everything super clean & the villa beautifully decorated with flowers each day by our housekeeper Flora. We can absolutely recommend this place to anybody - especially if on your honeymoon. It is a little expensive, but the experience you will have is worth every dollar. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much to the entire team once again!

The day manager _ Ciara, and all the people working im the Fuhara bar, restaurant and rooms are fantastic and veey helpful. When they were booked out they found us a second night with alternative accomm.. That's exceptionally nice! Bravo

We loved staying here. You get to enjoy one of the nicest beaches in the world (just a 5 minute walk away) at an incredible value. The room was simple but very comfortable and clean. The owner was very friendly and quickly responsive when we had a problem with the toilet. She gave great local recommendations too. The on site breakfast was delicious—including fresh fruit, juice, eggs, and pastries. Would recommend my family and friends to stay here if they visit Zanzibar!

We really enjoyed our stay. We had the big room with two twin beds, air conditioning, and private bathroom in a very central location a short walk from the beach. There are stores and restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance. But more important, Mustafa was a great host. He arranged for us to do laundry on-site for a small cost, handled a bothersome occupant, and even let us keep our bags in the room past check-out time so that we could do a Mnemba snorkeling trip. He is also a great supporter of his community, teaching in a local public school and doing community outreach in Kendwa. Service makes all of the difference and Mustafa made our stay special. We highly recommend Pumzika Kendwa Villa for your Kendwa stay!

This was a wonderful find, and a great value. It was nice to stay in a quiet home away from the noise and commotion of the resorts on the beach. The view from my balcony was great, and sunsets over the sea were beautiful. The second floor apartment catches the breeze and stays cool (the air conditioning was rarely needed). The hosts are very accommodating and friendly. They are fluent in Italian, and also speak English. Maid service came every day, which is unusual for an apartment. It was nice to have a kitchen (shared with another room) to prepare the local fruits sold in the village. The beach (which is the nicest, or one of the nicest, in Zanzibar) is a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment, and local restaurants are only a few minutes walk from the apartment. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Zanzibar.

This is a family run business at the south of Kendwa beach. Becca and his sisters have set up a wonderful facility. They are very close of the village so I enjoyed both the local and "tourist" perspectives.
