The property is so pretty- the gardens are beautiful and it’s a quick walk to the beach. Although TianDe isn’t directly on the beach, Mariola (the owner) has a friendly relationship with a neighboring hotel that is first row, so guests can spend time there during the day. The bar and restaurant area are lovely and the food is yummy and fresh- we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool is sparkling, and the staff is warm and hard-working. Our room was clean and comfortable, with A/C, tea/coffee, good shower, nice decor. Mariola and her boyfriend live on site- they are doing a fantastic job running TianDe with a lot of hard work and love. We wish them success and will recommend to TianDe to anyone traveling to Zanzibar.

We really loved this gem in Zanzibar- Beautifully located on the beach. The area is not overly flooded with tourists which meant it was quite peaceful I cannot compliment the staff enough. I loves the food spread both at dinner and breakfast. I got very sick during my 2nd day they did cater to me and checked up in me and allowed me to late checkout but they need to cascade information well. We found that the gentleman at the reception had no idea I wa I well so he was not accepting late check out until we said we wanted to talk to the manager so they need to cascade information
