The staff are amazing, the location right in front of a Vaperetto stop, the beautiful building with its recent renovation being perfectly balanced and on-point. I love how they left the fresco art while building the modern rooms below them. The social gathering area on each floor was an awesome space to do photo editing, catching up on emails, or even having a drink while meeting others staying in the hotel. I'd like to give a special mention for the amazing team at this hotel. Prior to arriving, we had sent several emails asking a number of questions. The team always replied promptly and with the following signature, "we remain at your disposal". Throughout our stay, that's exactly how we felt. The entire team was always available to help us. Unfortunately, I lost the record of their names, but I'd like to especially recognize the front desk people and the bartender of Philippines descent (moved to Italy when he was 8) for their truly amazing service. They went out of their way to make our stay was as comfortable as possible.
