Our second stay here, will definitely be coming for a third!. Absolutely gorgeous place with everything you could possibly need. Hosts are lovely people, very welcoming. Lovely rural location with the local wildlife - Deer and foxes, visiting the gardens daily. Plenty of areas in walking distance to explore and to see.

Food was really high standard in the canteen. Bell tents were lovely and spread out so couldn't hear next tent. Weather was atrocious though and tent did leak to the point we had to put cups and towels down, bedding also damp. The canteen shut at 4pm so we had nowhere to go to escape the rain, would have been nice to have somewhere on site to chill even if just a room with tables and chairs. The showers were lovely and clean, not shared with rest of campsite.

I loved how clean everything was, everything is also quite close from the tents so getting to the bathrooms and cafe wasn’t that much of an effort, lovely people and if you didn’t want to buy any wood you could take a walk into the woods and collect some yourself which is what we did. They had a room which offered a kettle, microwave and 3 fridges which we did not know and will deffo be more prepared for on our next stay! Loved it!
