It was an amazing staying at the Aurora glass hut. We had a 360 view of the ocean. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights, but our flight got cancelled. Gerth was very accommodating and modified our reservation, the next day we had to leave early so he had sent over a breakfast, and then helped us get to our next location. We really enjoyed the location and Gerth and Mallu’s hospitality!!

I would happily stay there again and recommend it to anyone travelling through Nuuk. They were renovating the second bathroom while I was there which meant there was only one available for all guests. We managed just fine even with 6 people in the house. The views must be one of the best in Nuuk – sitting right at the cliffs of the city facing North-West, you get stunning sunsets for free, and a secluded bay for your morning swim just below the hostel.
