Very peaceful and isolated, amazing food and very friendly and hospitable guide (Salem). The campfire was great, the stars are indescribable. There’s even signal if you walk up some of the highest dunes. I will never forget walking for hours in the sandy dunes without seeing any other footprints. It was truly a unique experience that we will treasure forever.

This place is great. We were a group of 2 Person we had the whole camp to ourselves the tents are very comfortable with toilet and shower in each tent. Food was very good, great music.But the highlight is the desert wow! the stars during the night, seeing shooting stars a wonderful place. How wonderful to wake up in the middle of the desert after arriving late at night. Hosts were absolutely adorable. Very flexible with the time as we came late in the day but Youness still managed to pick us up down the mountains. This is real desert, nothing to do with Agafay or whatever place ppl try to sell you in Morroco. Outstanding view, crazy sky full of stars and you can even see the moon rising behind the dunes at night, stunning!

As agreed, Ali waited for us in the center of M'hamida, where we parked the vehicle in a secured parking lot for 20 MAD per night. The jeep ride through the desert takes 1.5 hours (€90 for the jeep). After an interesting drive, we arrive at a beautiful small family camp run by Mohamed together with Ali. There are 4 tents and 3 bivouacs in the camp, which makes for a family-friendly atmosphere. Tea and snacks await you. Then we walk along the wonderful surrounding dunes. This is followed by an excursion with camels into the sunset organized by Mohamed (€15 pp/h). After the trip was a fantastic dinner from chef Ali, who prepared the best soup of our entire trip, and the tajine was also superb. Followed by stargazing and hanging out by the camp fire. In the morning, a pleasant simple breakfast and departure from the camp. . Thanks to Mohamed, Ali and the team for a wonderful day and night in a real desert. We recommend it to everyone who wants an authentic experience.

Great location at the foot of the dunes. Friendly, attentive service. Excellent tajine for dinner. It is accessible by small road if you have a car or scooter. If not, then like me, you may be offered a ride on the back of the owner’s brother’s motorcycle from Tagounite, which was an adventure in itself.

Comfortable, spotless, and stylish hotel among the sand dunes. Live music played in the evenings over an open fire enhances the attractiveness of the surroundings. You arrive at the location after a 20–40 minute dromedary ride from M'Hamid. The tent was a nice getaway following a tedious drive through the desert. The food was top-notch.

This is a great little find 10 mins walk south of Mhamid. The location is great. Away from the noise and dust of the town and set in a beautiful garden. Hamza was a super nice guy who made us a good breakfast even though we were past the breakfast time. It's a great place for people who want a bit of peace and quiet or for a big group as you can hang out in the gardens or rooftops of the place. Hot showers, a nice communal room upstairs. We couldn't believe we were the only people staying here.

Really amazing experience! Mohamed and said are great hosts, very friendly and welcoming. The camp is located in the best place, super close to the highest dunes, so you can reach them easily on foot and enjoy the desert! The camp is very clean, comfortable, and offers a lot of space to relax in the shadow as well. Our stay was wonderful, we spent two nights in the camp and couldn’t recommend it more! Our tent even got upgraded to a better option free of charge. Food was also delicious

Very nice camp with everything you need! We even got an upgrade, which was amazing. It’s quite comfortable and great starr into visiting the Sahara desert. Mohamed is the best chef - we had amazing Tajin and Maroccan salad of the whole journey.

Sand boarding is nice Yes €90 for the 4x4 ride but it’s 2 hours drive. I was alone but if you share its ok I think Camel tour is not my thing . I stopped after 10 minutes

We went on a fantastic day trip by 4x4 further out into the desert organised by Chraika. Our hosts are the loveliest people whom we will definitely return to visit again for a longer stay.

The staff was friendly and tried to make our stay as good as possible. They also helped us book a trip into the desert - very recommendable. Breakfast was amazing, the room beautiful (there are several small houses), and it's just gorgeous to experience sunrise and sunset in the desert, enjoying the remoteness and calmness. As they drove us back to our car in Mhamid, it had a flat tire and they also helped us fixing it.

We felt very much at home with our hosts. The camp is placed between two sand dunes far away from influence of the modern world. We enjoyed a four hour camel trek with included lunch break. We enjoyed authentic moroccan hospitality and food through and through. We left the main road in the dark and drove along the road until we arrived at the Camp Desert Trips. This is an oasis in the desert. We spent two nights at the hotel and Said and his people made us feel at home cooking great food and playing music until late. The tents are very clean and spacious. Each tent has its own shower and bathroom. The garden is like in a fairy tale with many different places to sit and enjoy the beautiful view.
