Absolutely amazing stay. The bungalows are super basic but that’s what we expected from a wooden hut in the jungle. They had a large comfy bed, mosquito net and bathroom with toilet and shower. The balcony was perfect for breakfast with an elephant. Restaurant was also very nice and overall a lovey relaxed feel. All staff were super friendly and we would highly recommend Chai Lai Orchid. The 1 day elephant experience was absolutely amazing

A good enough location, a little far away from the night markets compared to other accommodations, nice big room that was clean. Hot shower - not that you needed it. Great value for money

Really quiet location, very much amongst the locals which gave our time a much more authentic experience. Still only 20 minute walk to the main gate. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were nice and helpful. Room was fantastic, large and all amenities were up to scratch. Hotel offers cheap and quick laundry was a big win. Great it had a pool, we ended up taking a dip almost everyday. It is a small space though so can get busy. View from top floor balcony was amazing and in view of the sunset.

Staff very friendly - reception couldn't have been more helpful. Place is clean, pool is nice (they have a shallow kids pool and a separate large pool as well). Sunny balcony on my side of the hotel. A/C functioned fine, large room, hot shower etc. No problems at all.

The staff here are lovely and very helpful, Uom (so sorry for our terrible Thai pronunciation) cooked amazing breakfast, chatted with us in the morning and helped us when we needed to get to an atm. Absolutely beautiful surroundings and loved being woken up by the wildlife in the mornings, the sunsets and sunrises were amazing. The rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable with your own private balcony at the back that looks out onto the fields and a small stream. There are ducks and so much wildlife to spot too
