They had a large comfy bed, mosquito net and bathroom with toilet and shower. The balcony was perfect for breakfast with an elephant. Restaurant was also very nice and overall a lovey relaxed feel. All staff were super friendly and we would highly recommend Chai Lai Orchid. The 1 day elephant experience was absolutely amazing

Still only 20 minute walk to the main gate. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were nice and helpful. Room was fantastic, large and all amenities were up to scratch. Hotel offers cheap and quick laundry was a big win. Great it had a pool, we ended up taking a dip almost everyday. It is a small space though so can get busy. Absolutely beautiful surroundings and loved being woken up by the wildlife in the mornings, the sunsets and sunrises were amazing. The rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable with your own private balcony at the back that looks out onto the fields and a small stream. There are ducks and so much wildlife to spot too
