It is located in a great place on sunset boulevard where you can easily travel to the Hollywood tourist attractions. The staff are friendly and the amenities are the great value considering the price per night.

This review is for the Echo Lake Park property as we were double booked here and moved to the new property. It was freshly renovated, sparking clean, lovely smell, comfortable beds and amazing amenities. Location right at the Echo Lake Park, beautiful view from the veranda with the morning coffee. Owners were very friendly and helpful, provided snacks and coffee for the guests. It was an absolute pleasure to be able to stay at that property.

The hotel was wonderful! Funky, comfortable rooms, with an awesome rooftop pool area. It was in a really safe neighbourhood, and an easy walk to The Sunset Strip. The hotel staff were lovely and helpful too. The bed was super comfy and we had a really quiet room with a beautiful city view. Highly recommend!

The motel was ideally located between Sunset and Hollywood Boulevard, and a short walk from Hollywood/Western metro. There is a 'homeless' camp opposite, but this is fairly commonplace across some districts of LA.

A nice, spacious apartment with all amenities, including an underground parking lot (for 20$ per day extra), a small balcony, all kitchen utensils and even a washing machine with a dryer. We enjoyed the sunsets on the rooftop as well as all the Korean supermarkets and restaurants close by. Chinar was a great host and the check-in and check-out process was totally uncomplicated.

It was a fantastic hotel, located right between Sunset Blvd and Santa Monica Blvd. The staff were exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Montrose. The pool was great and the rooms were of a great size with excellent beds and facilities.

Room was clean, staff was very helpful and friendly. We asked if we could store our luggages with them for a few nights since we were planning to head out of town and check-in again when we got back. The staff were happy to help with this arrangement. They also had a ping-pong table, jenga and hammocks outside. The area wasn't too loud and there was a convenient store/liquor store 1 minute away.

The location was great, step straight out onto the beach or walk only a short distance to restaurants and convenience stores. We loved the gracefully decayed character of a vintage “hotel” with its awesome rooftop deck and spectacular sunsets.
