Zhangye Railway Station and Zhangye Coach Station are 1 hour's drive from Kaoshan Tent, and Zhangye Ganzhou Airport is 1 hour and 15 minutes' drive from the property. This was such a wonderful and unique place to stay! The staff were very helpful. They arranged transportation to and from the airport for us, kept the restaurant open for us, and even brought us breakfast in our yurt since we were there in the off-season. Everything was very clean and there was a western-style toilet available if needed. It was so special to wake up among the mountains. The location is an easy 10-minute walk to the gate of Rainbow Mountains park, so it's perfect for visiting. We enjoyed the hot pot dinner in the restaurant yurt. If you're not a fan of hot pot, there are also restaurants across from the park gate (so an easy walk away) and we also had a delicious meal at one of those.

Some units include a terrace and/or a balcony with mountain views and an outdoor dining area. At the luxury tent, some units are soundproof.

Guests at the luxury tent will be able to enjoy activities in and around Dunhuang, like hiking. The luxury tent has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. The management is helpful and friendly. Provided free pick up to hotel area, prepared our breakfast according to our departure schedule. The room is comfortable and as described, we can see stars from our room.
