The property was in a very idyllic spot overlooking Kent estuary. Balcony’s were great to view the sunset . Excellent home from home facilities , even supplies of dog bed , towels , bowls and treats for dog. Great for walks with dog on beach too albeit was very wet for our week stay but there was a hose in porch and drying area so not a problem. Welcome pack was a great touch with nespresso pods, tea, biscuits, wine and shacks
The location was wonderful. Rooms were clean, comfortable. The view from the window looking out to countryside, sheep's lambs wildlife was amazing. Peaceful and relaxing.
Evening meals, especially the deserts were excellent. Breakfasts times allowed plenty of flexibility. The bed was also very comfortable. Bottle of water in the bedroom renewed each day.
Fab location to safari zoo, which is the reason for visiting the area.
Rooms very clean plenty space nice hot shower breakfast excellent great choice quality ingredients
Fabulous access to walks straight out of the door. New fully equipped kitchen and hot shower.
This little property had everything I wanted for a few nights in the Lake District. It was perfectly appointed, a home from home, close to local facilities and very well located for sightseeing. The views from the front window, especially at sunrise and sunset, were a delight. As a woman alone, I felt safe here, even when wandering to the private jetty at dusk. Anya was exceptionally welcoming and provided lots of useful information for my stay.
Plenty of usb ports, hot shower.
I was in one of the Loughrigg single rooms, reminded me of my uni days! It's basic, but you aren't paying the price of a fancy hotel. There is tea, coffee, a cosy bed, a telly and a hot shower. The rooms were quiet and looked out onto trees, no no view. BEST PART: You can walk right down to the lake on a private path and take a dip off the jetty (if no boats) or in the bay next door. I had a swim at sunset and dawn and I saw herons and all sorts. Stunning!
