Wilpattu
Located on the border of Wilpattu National Park, Big Game - Wilpattu by Eco Team offers spacious tents with an attached partitioned bathroom. Surrounded by wildlife and nature, the camp-site is 7 km from the park’s entrance and just 500 metres from the park's boundary. The tents are awesome, comfortable and nice. The staff was very helpful and the restaurant outdoors look like if we were in Out of Africa. The safari is also worth it.
Nekattegama
At the luxury tent, every unit is equipped with a desk. There is a private bathroom with bidet in every unit, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. At the luxury tent, all units come with bed linen and towels. Really good location close to the national Park. We were originally supposed to stay in Green Sapphire but they let us down a few hours before we were due to arrive (seems they’ve done it a lot looking at the Google reviews), but the Mango Villa team had everything sorted even though we booked just a few hours earlier that day they were still able to organise 2 full day safaris for the following 2 days where we saw all sorts of great wildlife. Staff are all really friendly, especially the man who brings the food across in the evenings (unfortunately I don’t know his name). The food is good especially considering the remote location and nice packed lunches for the safari each day. Definitely the place to stay if you’re planning a Wilpattu safari!

Really enjoyed our stay, very comfortable and great location to do a safari from
The room, fully in nature. Clean and with airco. Beautiful balcony. I loved the nice staff, everyone was so kind. They cooked me very nice vegetarian food. The river safari was beautiful, but the full day safari to Wilpattu was the best! Leopard, elephant, crocodiles.. I loved it. Thanks for everything.
Roshan is very friendly and the safari he organised for us was really nice! Rooms are comfortable and cosy. Great location near the park entrance
A good location close to park entrance. Anton was a charming, knowledgeable host, with excellent english. A keen wildlife photographer. Breakfast and evening meals were very good, and safari breakfast and lunch plentiful and tasty. The safari, organised by Anton, was excellent, especially birdlife and leopard sighting. Binoculars and wildlife books were available to use. The whole stay was very enjoyable.
Friendly welcome, great food and organised everything for us with ease. The safari was excellent as we were conscious of finding one that was respectful to the wildlife, our naturalist guide and driver were exactly that. Best Sri Lankan breakfast, so tasty!!
We had me of the best sleeps there during our whole stay in Sri Lanka! They have really comfy glamping tents and huge outdoor bathrooms. The safari was THE BEST and one of the biologists who runs the lodge accompanied us and told us so much about the wildlife.
Comfortable glamping tents in beautiful surroundings close to Wilpattu National Park. We booked a package with a half-day safari and dinner and were not disappointed. We spotted a leopard and a bear, but that takes some luck as the vegetation is quite dense. We were upgraded to luxury tents as we were the only guests.
We had a lovely bungalow with a big verandah. The bed was super comfy after lots of hard, thin mattresses in other hotels. The place runs like clockwork, which was great for us as we were on a tight schedule. We had a delicious buffet dinner the day we arrived and then were up early for a well organised safari the next morning. The owner is very friendly and enthusiastic and his family are also lovely. I really enjoyed walking down to the lake in the afternoon.
