Staying at Turon Gates to visit the nearby Capertee Valley for birdwatching. Loved the place. Beautiful setting on a peaceful river and Gang-Gang Cuckatoos right outside the cabin ! We also saw hundreds of Kangaroos nearby from the road leading to our cabin ! The cabin was spacious and very confortable. Excellent place for the money.

Fantastic place to stay to be close to nature and away from city. The glamping tent is well equipped and really enjoyed the barbecue facilities available.

Very friendly staff and a clean, comfortable bed. Shared bathrooms were very clean and as we were the only guests the 2 nights we stayed we had them to ourselves! The lounge and bar areas downstairs were warm with welcoming open fires and friendly, interesting locals. Our dinner was one of the best parmigianas we’ve ever had. Breakfast of cereal and toast was included.

Attractive heritage hotel close to Capertee Valley for birdwatching. Very clean room and bathroom, with a comfortable bed and friendly staff who made me feel very welcome. A great deck upstairs on the side with sunset, ducks and bushland views. Oh and black cockatoos flying by at eye level. Yes, and award winning crafty craft whisky made in the shed outside to warm up your cockles because it's really cold and the fires are sadly not on.

Everything was perfect for our first year anniversary. Amenities, accommodation was clean and prestine. No problems what so ever. We loved how close to nature it was and the animals were all so friendly. Very well looked after and the managers and other staff were very helpful and welcoming. Whatever needs or enquiries you had they had accommodated us well or did their very best to try to. We both highly recommend this beautiful experience to anyone with or without glamping experience. 10/10 ❤️

The glamping tent itself was absolutely beautiful! It was so peaceful and quiet, but also so much to do if you wanted. Alex, the manager was so helpful with booking activities and organising walks!
