There are picnic tables reserved for Lodge residents just above the beach with a fabulous view. We enjoyed eating a picnic dinner out there one evening. Simply fabulous. While there is a pool we didn't use it as the Lodge is only a few steps away from the beach and preferred to swim in the sea. We did warm up in the spa pool after one swim which was very nice. Well appointed kitchen to do breakfast, lunch and simple dinners. The hostess was very helpful with all our requests.JaneFamily with young children

Location was great too, easy walk to the centre of Russell for shops, cafes, restaurants, and the waterfront and beach (and quick drive to 2 other beaches) and the property was nice and quiet. Kitchenette very well setup with all the basics you need for cooking. Heated swimming pool gets a good amount of sun and has nice loungers to laze on.
