We were wanting to stay outside the city this trip. Instead we found a beautiful place, incredible scenery, wonderful staff. We want to stay here again. Bath gate is a great place to stay and would like to explore further.

Our first time in Scotland and glamping and I’m sooo glad I didn’t book a hotel ! … the pods are beautiful and ever so cosy … we definitely did not need to bring extra woollies with us ! … we arrived on Xmas day to a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us … fresh eggs and milk were provided too which was very welcome ! … the pod was very clean too. beds are comfy and so is the sofa bed (I have same one at home) this is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas and relaxing here in the evening … we spotted lots of wild animals including cute rabbits in the evenings … the owner is very friendly and lit us up a little fire on our last night so my little one could toast some marshmallows. felt very safe … Highly recommend this place !

Mallaig Glamping Pods, a property with a garden, is located in Mallaig, 42 km from Glenfinnan Station Museum, 41 km from Glenfinnan Monument, as well as 41 km from Glenfinnan Viaduct. There is a private entrance at the campground for the convenience of those who stay. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The location of the pods is excellent; five minutes walk from the station and with views across to the small isles and within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The lockbox allowed us to check in independently and dash to the boatyard for the 3:30 wildlife cruise with plenty of time to spare. The pod itself was spotless and equipped with everything we needed for our few nights in Mallaig. Our hosts were excellent and responded to our queries very quickly! A lovely place to stay and would highly recommend!
