A recently renovated campground located in Bidiyah, Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya features a shared lounge. Featuring full-day security, this property also welcomes guests with a restaurant and a sun terrace. The campground also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Great location at the foot of a big dune, while still being reachable by a normal car (no 4x4 needed). Beautiful setup with tents and little houses, very clean and spacious. The staff is amazing, would do anything for you. The food is fine, and there is enough for everyone. I liked the open roof shower, especially at night as you could see the moon and stars! The camp is more affordable in comparison with other camps in the area, but the activities have crazy prices. We ended up not booking a any acricitiy at the camp, but enjoyed the stars after the lights go off and woke up early to walk up the dune. Took us about 15min to walk all the way up for sunrise.

Buffet and continental breakfast options with fruits and cheese are available each morning at the campground. We had an extraordinarily wonderful time at the camp. The settings were all top notch. The beddings were squeaky clean, the shower and electricity gave it an extra notch. The host organized a sunset dune bashing and they took us for a once in a lifetime ride for a great sunset. We had wonderful Omani dinner and breakfast at the camp, and we were stuffed every single time. The camp was very quiet at night and we cannot imagine how it would get any better than this.

Located 50 km from Wadi Bin Khalid, SAFARI-Glamping offers accommodation in Bidiyah-20 kms inside the desert from the village Al Hawaiyah. SAFARI-Glamping offers two private tents and 2 huts between the dunes in Sharqiyah sands. Our experience at Safari Glamping was really amazing. We tried a lot of delicious traditional food, rented quad bike from a nearby camp, which is owned by the same person, and he invited us for a dinner at this bigger camp, where we had the opportunity to speak with him about his life as a beduin. The host in our camp was really nice and helpful, prepared fire and a really good food for us and as we were lucky to be alone there, we had a chance to speak with him. The room was really clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We drove to the camp by our 4WD car and it was simple and without any problem. You just need to have your tires deflated beforehand. 100% recommended experience worth the money.

Safari Dunes is a permanent camp located 8 km away from the base safari desert camp. It is a small camp with 5 tents located on the top of the dunes.

Each tent comes with authentic carpets,luxury beds and bedding. A well equipped sanitary building with toilet and shower is also attached to every tent. Being far away in the desert, the place had a special atmosphere and the accommodation was both practical and in harmony with the peacefulness of the nature. The cottage had everything we needed - including private bathroom, warm water and electiricty. The breakfast and supper prepared by the staff were delicious.

Desert Wonders Camp is situated on Eastern Sands that stretches from Eastern Hajars to the Arabian Sea. Lit by lanterns, the camp offers Bedouin-style accommodation with tents. The camp is Eco friendly and only uses solar systems.

A good location for a relaxing stay in Bidiyah, Starry Domes Desert Camp II is a campground surrounded by views of the garden. The property features a garden, barbecue facilities and parking on-site among other facilities. The property was built in 2023 and features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a ski equipment rental service is also available. Absolutely loved our stay at the Milky Way domes! It was a unique experience, it was very clean and cozy. There were robes and snacks and extra linen. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, we had a dinner buffet (at an additional charge) and then we stayed up and they provided us with tea while we chatted under the stars. The next morning they send you a yummy breakfast to your room. My friends and I loved it and would come back again :)

At the campground, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. really thoughtfully planned and decorated two domes, not far from edgeof desert, but in very secluded spot. Host always has a smile on his face, dinner and breakfast, separately ordered, were excellent.

Sama Al Wasil Desert Camp is located in Shāhiq and offers a restaurant buffet. It includes table tennis and darts.

Clean rooms, great food with plenty options, lovely vibe. Trust me, this will be the highlight of your vacay and you won’t miss wifi at all.

The campground also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Very welcoming hosts, great surrounding dunes, lots of surprise visits from friendly camels, nice pool, great food, nice room and view. Service was really above and beyond. Highly recommended.
