We had a fantastic experience staying at Hiraya camp site. There are two options to choose from pre erected tents or the NIPA huts. We chose to stay in the hut which gave us free use of a scooter which was brilliant to get to El Nido town (10mins) and Lio beach (5mins). The huts are equipped with a fan which kept us cool. The hut itself and the toilets and showers are spotlessly clean and you can tell are cleaned throughout the day. There is also a fridge where you can purchase drinks or help yourself to water (for free)!! Last but not least the amazing ladies who own this place really make your stay exceptional. They are so lovely and really have thought of everything to make it as comfortable as can be. The value for money is amazing. Thank you so much Hiraya camp site we cannot recommend you enough.

One of our favourite places we’ve ever stayed. The host, Ka Kiko, is an absolute ray of sunshine and such a joy to be around. He gives great recommendations for places to eat and visit in the area, has some killer karaoke skills, will often personally escort you around the village, AND walk you to the shuttle bus at the end of your stay (even at five in the morning!). His family are delightful and will add so much warmth to your stay (cheeky boy Cham Cham!). The facilities are clean and well maintained. Water pressure for showers is good. Free tea and coffee on the beach each morning is lovely. The stay is right on the beach and feels like a little slice of paradise. Wifi is incredible considering the location. You can cook in their kitchen for a small fee. Ka Kiko also made us the most delicious dish we’ve had during our stay in the Philippines. When you book, keep an eye out for the intro message from the host - it has some very handy information about getting to the property for a good cost. Do yourself a favour and stay here!

Located in Darocotan Island, 27 km from El Nido, Bice Camp Darocotan provides a bar and free WiFi. The property provides transfers from airport or downtown El Nido and boat to the island. The area is quiet and nice and the beach is really beautiful. The staff is nice, Andy is really helpful and assists the transportation both sea and land. Will definitely come back again.

We definitely recommend this place! The location is very beautiful, far from the crowd of the city and worth the effort to climb the stairs. And the host is extraordinary, a very friendly and sociable man. The breakfast is delicious, and in addition to this, during the day, Mr Armstrong gave us free coffee and pancakes. Everything was perfect!

This was our favourite stay in the Philippines. My friend and I stayed for four nights and wish we stayed even longer. The hut is very nice, and the pool and Hammock was a nice extra. The sunset hike also had very nice views! I definitely recommend!!
