At the capsule hotel, rooms come with a desk, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels. Some rooms include a kitchen with a fridge, a microwave and a stovetop. The rooms have a wardrobe.

A no frills room, but that's all I need. The room was clean and comfortable. A very central location, it's close to everything. It just took a few minutes by tram from the train station. . . I recommend this hotel.

Looking for a capsule hotel?

Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

Good value for money for a 3 star hotel, location in a eco-friendly new borough, 4km from downtown but easily accessible by car, free and protected car park, breakfast was cheap and fantastic, room amenities were basic but functional, staff was friendly and helpful.

Great location near the historical centre and close to a parking lot. Great, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Two rooms were adjacent to each other and shared a front door, which made it convenient for us - we could leave the room doors open and close the main door, so it felt like a big house. Friendly host. Only stayed for one night, but would be ideal for longer stays too.

The best things about this apartment: Cleanliness - as clean as other reviews suggested. Budget-friendly price - cheaper than most of the apartments in Strasbourg. Excellent location, especially for visiting European institutions. Instructions provided by the host were extremely helpful and full of details.

Start to finish this little hotel exceeded my expectations. A bit funky and love the artful-fun decor. Breakfast was excellent. Budget friendly and everything done very well!!! Highly recommend and will book there again. Very convenient to the train station.

The location is superb! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great. Good value for money. Rooms for different budgets. We took the cheapest rooms (relatively small). Even these rooms are nicely furnished and well decorated. I saw some of he more expensive rooms while they were cleaned. Also very nice and cosy.
