Looking for a capsule hotel?

Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

The location is great and the price is also unexpensive. The room is clean and there are some convenient stores nearby. You can walk to "Sakae" in 10~15mins. Even it is not a very popular location but it's still convenient and quiet. The room is bigger than I expected! For this price, it's even larger than the typical hotel rooms in major Japanese cities. The hotel features a public bathhouse, which is very comfortable, although the water temperature in the bathhouse is a bit too high, haha.

First experience in a capsule hotel for me, I must say I am extremely happy. It might be a bit expensive but it is very clean and the lockers where you leave the luggage are on another floor, so that the other guests don't disturb you with packing and unpacking. Extremely clean restrooms and showers, the breakfast was maybe a bit too simple, but the staff is friendly and the position also very good! I did not see the terrace, so I cannot say much about it

Lots of amenities. Our room came with a jacuzzi and sauna which was great. Big comfortable bed. Make sure you know what a love hotel is before booking. It was exactly what we were wanting to experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's a very good japanese love hotel. Very cheap for the size of the room and the amenities that come with it.

Definitely the most modern and well laid out capsule hotel we’ve visited in Japan so far. A great option for solo travellers, barcodes for access and separate male/female lifts felt very safe for everyone. Pods were spacious and private. Shared cleaning area was excellent, of a really high standard and clean! The relaxing space on the top floor was nice but definitely too small for the amount of people that could use it. Many people came and left as no seating space.

The location was prime! The hotel is a 5-min walk from Nagoya station and is situated in the middle of Unimall (an underground mall). There's also a 24/7 convenient store right below the hotel. The hotel has a Japanese style spa but we unfortunately weren't able to use it due to the lack of time and energy. My favorite part was the ice vending machine on our floor!

Very cute hotel with friendly staff, well located near Nagoya station, the hotel has the standard Japanese sized bedroom, with minimal but beautiful furniture. The bathroom was a bit more spacious than the other hotels that we have stayed. There's a good konbini crossing the street, which was pretty convenient.

This my first capsule hotel experience. The property provided everything we required for our one week stay. Access to and from subway was close and convenient. Lounge was well provisioned with food and drinks available 24/7. Staff were fantastic.

Located close to the JR Nagoya Station, 9 hours Capsule Hotels tend to be of similar high quality which makes it an easy, cheap choice for those travelling solo across the country. Nice room, good lockers, very nice showers, really very little to complain about provided you are willing to stay in a Capsule room.

My first time in a capsule hotel! Easy to locate, very straightforward and clean. The showers are wonderful, and there is a calm spaceship pod ambiance in the room that i really dig. They provide pajamas, slippers, towels, and toothbrushes. Not sure if I paid the regular price or if it was slightly cheaper than usual, but it was great value for money!
