Beautiful property located on a mountain with a very nice view. It takes about 20 minutes by car to go up and down the main road to Brienz. The chalet was very clean, the kitchen was very well equipped with (almost) everything you need. Nice garden and pet friendly. Owners were very friendly and responsive. Would happily go back!

I had it turned up to 5 (highest setting) and the radiator was cold all night. As soon as everything turned on in the morning the heater started working. I think perhaps there is a setting the owners control? The lake view was amazing, the bed was comfy and the bath tub was a huge perk. The breakfast was great and the cheeses were so good.

Beautiful dining room, with stunning view. Nice selection of food for breakfast. Coffee, tea and hot drinks stations available on the corridors of each floor, free to use for all guests. If you feel like having a good-night drink - self-service bar is available in the dining room. If you need a lunch or dinner to be arranged for you - just mention it to the host, and they will take care of it (no walk-in restaurant, it works on demand).

The beds were comfortable and a coffee on the balcony looking out at the lake and peaks is the perfect start to the day. The neighbourhood is calm and further up the hill is an all-hours animal park with deer and ibex.
