Ok, let me start with the fact I almost never share comments on booking.com. But for Los Delfinos Lodge I want to make an exception. Miguel is absolutely AMAZING. Oh and did I say that the property is as amazing as Miguel? The hospitality, the car drive in the night to the city Center, the stories about the environment, the bikes, the beds. Lovely to wake up with the sound of howler monkeys and then make our breakfast in our own kitchen. This is the message you wanted to read in the reviews: go to los delfinos lodge, you won’t regret it! 🙏 ❤️🍀

It was really great! The house was in the jungle but was cleaned daily so you can have a hotel experience. It was really nice waking up with these amazing flora coming through the window inside. The shops are really close (5min walk), and the owners are really nice and helpful ☺️ We were there for two weeks and it was amazing time! It has fully equipped kitchen so you can prepare some breakfast or something to eat ☺️

Our cabin was next to the water and during our stay we have seen: toucan, agoutis, squirrels, coatis, otters, a tarantula( we think) a green basilisk, turtles, green iguanas, honey bear(kinkajous)and hummingbirds. We loved that the staff didn’t push us to eat there and understood that backpackers will want to use the kitchen. They organised us a taxi to Puerto Viejo for the same price as a tuk tuk! Very reasonable bike hire prices. Would definitely stay here again!
