Maria is a great host, she’s reactive, smiley and kind and had prepared for us all the necessary products for us to spend a nice long WE. The lodge is at 1min by foot of a bus stop that will bring you to the city center in 10min. The area is nice with parcs for kids, and groceries stores. Maria’s garden is perfect, we even got a small visiteur in the morning 🐿 and we could witness beautiful sunset on the valley. I highly recommend and will probably be back myself!

Expected the cabin to not live up to the photos, but it absolutely did. Cabin was spacious, clean and you could tell Anja (the host) had gone out of her way to make it a special stay. Couldn’t recommend more for a summer getaway!

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Location was amazing to shopping centre, and also to the afternoon tea and nightclub we attended all within walking distance 5-10mins in some cases even less. Was fab to know the early hours walk back wasn’t very far at all. The security guard letting us in in the early hours. It was nice to know hotel was shut down to guests only gaining access and you had to report your name and room number. Carpark under hotel connected was fab for just getting you bags out and walking straight up to reception to check in.

Full upper floor access with 2 friendly cats and an even friendlier dog who will optionally be shut away or entertain you! The owner was charming and super welcoming. The bath and vast array of toiletries to try (and buy if you want) made it a self pampering delight.

Great comfortable room, great location, very simple to get into Brighton centre via the bus service just outside the property. Superb views from the full height windows with shutters to close out the lights and noise. Deep soak bath & separate shower was a real treat! Great breakfast, and being a vegetarian was no issue at all with lots of options available. Off street parking was a massive bonus so close to Brighton centre.

Lovely little cabins situated behind and above the main caravan site. Easy access to Brighton along the front or by bus. Layout was comfortable and we used the bunk beds to store our bags. Kitchen and bathroom quite small but very usable.

Really disappointed with the room, the ceiling in the shower was about to fall through. The window opened onto another roof, the window did not shut it was so bowed, there were a lot of spiders and bugs in the room. It is really only the room i have a complaint about, i feel for the price I expected better. This has put me off staying again.

The room was too hot… the fan didn’t work. There wasn’t even a kettle to make a cup of tea. Had to have the windows open all night and ended up listening to lots of drunk people which is expected but wouldn’t of heard that if window was shut and fan was working.

The room was clean and comfortable, and provided wooden shutters to make sure I wasn't disturbed by the morning light. I also appreciated the shower in the bathroom!

Location was perfect - right in the midst of all hub Really enjoy small things like decoration, extra coffee, sugar, and soap. The top was a window with new wooden retro shutters - really like it :)
