Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

The first impressions were to be very impressed indeed. Driving up to the hut and seeing my name on the door was a lovely and personal touch. When I opened the hut door, we were welcomed by such a beautiful interior from the bed linen to the hand crafted dresser and bloom of faux flowers. We loved the complimentary bottle of bucks fuzz and chocolates. I am recovering from having major surgery which I had in June. Abdominal hysterectomy, so I really found this peaceful and very tranquil.

Breakfast had a lot of choice. Airconditioning worked very well and made our room comfortable particularly overnight as were able to shut all windows to keep out noise from the city centre. Reception staff were polite and helpful. Room cleaning staff, one in particular (sorry I didn't get her name) were exceptional and I cannot rate these staff highly enough; nothing was too much trouble and our room was clean. We liked the soap and shampoo provided

Super cosy and had everything that we needed! It was nice and warm in the hut - which we were a bit worried about with the chilly nights! The campsite was lovely and quiet despite it being busy for bank holiday. Although we didn't meet Maria, she was very helpful over message and made sure that we had everything that we needed. Can't find any faults!

The hosts were absolutely fabulous, they couldn't make it anymore straight forward. The huts were cute, a good size, very comfortable and stylish. The site was great, it was clean, tidy and the facilities were also really good. There are no complaints from us :)

Accomodation, staff and breakfast were excellent. Receptionist even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine as there was no car park space as the M4 had been shut both ways so we were delayed in getting there.

Bar shut 10pm.Emailed the hotel and the reply was simply "yes".The hotel was tired and in need of investment.Ceri the receptionist was very helpful but returning to the hotel at 22.10 to be told the bar had closed at 22.00,this falls way short of the service I would expect in a 4 Star hotel.Come on Hilton get your act together.

Room they gave me was full of other people’s items. Left our bags in a room to collect later in the day. Air conditioning leaked all night so no sleep. Door lock didn’t work properly so had to slam the door for it to shut from the outside. Overall for £94 I was fairly disappointed.
