Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

The bedroom was full of character - wooden beams, sloping ceiling, uneven floor. The location was exceptionally quiet. Bathroom fittings were in good working order, though given a Victorian look. The full English breakfast was good, as was dinner the night before. Free parking in a car park intended for walkers on the Chiltern Way. Located at the edge of the Chilterns, there are good walks to be had.

We loved our Shepherds Hut! The location was perfect, we loved being completely remote and amongst nature and it was fully decked out with everything we needed for our stay. Thank you so much.

It was an amazing experience staying in the shepherds hut. It was beyond clean and everything you could possibly want was provided. Beautiful setting. Peaceful, joyful and just lovely. One little disappointment and that was the BBQ hadn’t been cleaned after last visitors.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room also had 2 comfy armchairs. The bathroom was large and the shower was excellent and there were lovely, large, white fluffy towels. We were in the oldest part of the hotel with views of the high street. There was no noise from the pub downstairs but there was of course traffic noise most of which could be kept out by shutting the windows and the secondary glazing.

It was superb and we couldn't fault it. The cabin was excellent in every aspect and we loved it. beautifully designed - everything thought through and all amenities one could need were provided. Would highly recommend. We had to leave a day early due to family commitments and we are gutted not to be staying - would definitely book again. It was a bit pricey - but I guess that because it was Henley Regatta and its a peak time.

Pansy Hut is very well appointed in an absolutely stunning secluded woodland location. There are 3 other accommodations on the property but they are far enough away to feel like you are surrounded by nature and in the perfect spot for relaxation. Not far from Henley-on-Thames or other amenities if you do want to venture out. Would definitely stay again!

Rooms are gorgeous with original fireplaces and brands. The breakfast was excellent, cooked on order and a wide selection of eggs, full English, smoked salmon etc. All staff were friendly and polite.

Great location. Surrounded by nature. It was private enough, even though you could see a couple of other nearby huts. Nice little touches like leaving a binocular for guests to enjoy nature and wildlife spotting. Small but well thought out spacing. Underfloor heating was warm enough, but there is also logfire if needed. Good parking space close to the hut. Overall very satisfactory
