The homemade Guinness bread and homemade cookies were gifted to us by the host upon arrival and were delightful. I could not fault our stay at the lodge. I was thoroughly impressed. Plus, the host, Margaret, was as friendly as you could hope for, making us feel very welcome. Plus, the lodge was nothing short of perfect, we both loved the decor, it had everything you could possibly need for your stay, and the cleanliness of the entire location was impeccable.

Our daughter got to feed the animals on the farm and there was orange juice, milk, butter in the fridge. We had fresh farm eggs and bread as well as fruit and snacks. The cabin is beautiful and well kitted out. The location was mystical and peaceful , the lake was the perfect backdrop for a September break. Our hut was a tastefully decorated, off grid , with a proper hot stove and the most amazing bed !
