Beautiful modern and cozy cabin in remote Iceland. The cabin was easy to access, warm and comfortable, with new facilities. We had excellent views of the mountains and clear night sky. Also even a visit from the neighboring horses!

Boasting river views, Audkula Dome Cabin features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 35 km from Seljalandsfoss. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Outdoor dining is also possible at the apartment.

The best place to stay! Really, the owners are amazingly accomodating and helpful, the place is spotless and so clean, it is very cozy, the view and the whole surrounding is peaceful and relaxing. We've enjoyed the outdoor shower so much! We've also really appreciated the basics like shampoo, shower gel, coffee and tea provided. We've only spent one night and that is our only regret, that we couldn't have stayed for a whole week, it's simply a beautiful place.

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Cozy cabin feel hotel, but rooms are very spacious and service excellent across the board. We had very welcoming service, and excellent restaurant experience as well both nights. Most uniquely, its an isolated and peaceful location, with star/sky observatory hut 3 min walk from hotel. They gave a wonderful skygazing session explaining the incredible skyscape you see given you are in low-light pollution area, and most importantly we saw the Northern Lights for over an hour in middle of this session!

This property was located in a rural area, and absolutely spectacular. The views across the snow-fields to the river were beautiful. The breakfast is delicious. The staff were kind and incredibly helpful. They even gave us food to feed the horses. The facilities were lovely - clean and comfortable. We saw the aurora over our cabin! Breathtaking. Truly magical place to stay.

What a amazing place. The cabin is very clean, nice, warm and you have everything you need. With all the windows you will have a great view. We saw the Aurora for a couple of hours, even from inside it was perfect to see. Comfortable beds, good shower and an absolute perfect spot in Iceland. When we had a question for the host we had a very quick response. Great stay!

What an amazing location. If you want to see the countryside of Iceland this is the place. The cabins are set in amongst the mountains and volcanoes of the south. The views are breathtaking. Inside we were warm and comfortable even when there were strong and cold winds blowing outside.

Nice wooden chalet overlooking the mountains in the distance. The house was spacious enough for our family of four. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Their dog and horses proved to be an amazing bonus for the kids.
