Popular points of interest near the apartment include Palermo Central Train Station, Teatro Massimo and Piazza Castelnuovo. The nearest airport is Falcone-Borsellino, 29 km from Castrum Lodge, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service.

The flat was in a lovely location only a 5-minute walk away from the Cathedral and right next to one of the markets. It is nicely furnished and very modern with a lovely balcony. Host was lovely and responded to messages within minutes. We arrived in Palermo earlier than expected and they were accommodating and allowed us to check in earlier with less than an hour notice. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Palermo! One thing to keep in mind is that if you're going by car the streets around are very narrow.

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

You’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay for a couple of days. Small kitchen corner with coffee machine, kettle, electric milk frother and other stuff. The bed was comfortable as well as pillows. Especially, I enjoyed the bathroom with big shower cabin.

Location was excellent. Julien who met us on arrival was very nice and helpful. The sun terrace is a real bonus to this property. Very Quite apartment. You can't hear any street noise. We would definitely go back to this apartment as it was very central to everything and we were able to get the shuttle bus to airport just around the corner. There is also a good supermarket across the road.

We enjoyed our room with a balcony for sitting outside. The room was beautifully appointed and the bathroom was very spacious. The breakfast buffet was very good, and the both the restaurant and the bar were excellent. Staff were all very helpful. The garden with the umbrella pines and palm trees was lovely. There were also free shuttle buses going to the city centre for those wanting to visit the city.

Breakfast tasty with steaming fresh coffee. Location lively like most of Palermo but big shutters keep the night noise at bay. Host Ricardo really kind and thoughtful.

Staff is great, our check-in was late night, we got instructions for self check-in. For breakfast was omelette. In the room white toilet and shower is private but out of the room, but I was told about that in advance, so for us it wasn’t surprise, they also have room with shower room inside the room. The shower cabin is needed renovation a bit, bc the door of the shower didn’t close fully. But the room costs their money. Close to the train station

It was the perfect accommodation for a weekend in Palermo. The location couldn’t be better, bus station and airport shuttle right in front of the building. Almost everything is walkable from there. The room was super cute and the view with a little balcony wonderful. Martina made the stay perfect, fresh breakfast every morning and she was always there for questions. Thank you so much! I can only recommend Dimora San Domenico!

Good location, nice interior. Very helpful host. Sea view from the windows, and amazing caffe downstairs. Even tho it is a busy street outside the apartment, you cant hear a thing once the windows are shut.

The room was bigger than we thought. It was clean and simple and wonderful. There was a balcony with working shutters. The kitchen facilities were easy to use. They asked that we not cook fried foods or fish but that was fine for us. The location made it easy to walk or catch a bus to the places we wanted to see. The breakfast things were all packaged, but we got groceries so we really only ate tge cookies and used the instant expresso machine, after we figured out how to use it. We would definitely stay here again.
