The view is amazing! The rooms are very nice and clean, and the garden and pool are neatly kept, and Punto (the cat) is really friendly and cute. Where Villa Vitis excels is in the reception from Nicola, the host. He was friendly and helpful in every way, from carrying our luggage to helping us find and book wine tastings and restaurants. One night Nicola and the owners even invited us over for wine and conversation. All in all, a wonderful stay.

The room was very quiet, and with the shutters closed, we were easily able to "sleep in" until 8:30 each morning. (Late for us!) Although our room faced the breakfast area, we were pleasantly surprised not to be awakened by the set up each morning - Evelyn and her team are very quiet! I appreciated that there was an iron and small ironing board available in the room.

She thoughtfully left ,orange juice, water,tea coffee pods etc and a bottle of excellent Prosecco. New bathroom. Lift to apartment. Blissfully silent. Brilliant electric shutters. Right in centre of town, taxi rank nearby. Very rare to get such a helpful and caring owner.

It's also within easy reach of the town historical centre, about 10-15 min on foot. The hotel is basic but nice, and the staff was very helpful and they even prepared us a takeaway breakfast as we had a very early flight to catch!
