Quiet, clean, spacious and affordable guesthouse-style accommodations, lovingly maintained by a family who does everything from check-in, meals and snow removal. So pleasant and helpful. Hard to beat the location and don't miss the onsen and meal after a day on the slopes.

Yoshi and his wife were the warmest hosts we have met after 6 months of travelling. From the moment we arrived early morning, they took care of us and went out of their way to accommodate us. The pension is very cosy, the room and beds are very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast is simply amazing, so worth it! The private onsen, which can be used one hour per day, is another fantastic bonus, especially after a day of skiing. Do not hesitate to book this place, you will not regret it!

The hosts picked us up at the bus terminal and gave us all sorts of local transport info on getting to the different ski resorts. The private onset was awesome!! Bathroom across the hall but still for our private use. The room made good use of space and felt much larger. I wish they did breakfast, but otherwise it was a fantastic stay!

Super comfortable stay with everything we needed to cook after a day on the slopes. The bedding was excellent, showers and toilets worked well. Our host Toshi really made the stay exceptional, he helped us wherever he could, dropped us at the lifts each day and made it really special. Location was excellent, with a shuttle stop for the other mountains 2 minutes walk away. The on-site Onsen was also great and worth booking after a long day. Can’t recommend this stay highly enough, truly 10/10!

I like everything about the lodge. The room has its own en suite bath tub and an outside hot bath and balcony. The accomodation also has free breakfast plus they give free shuttle to the ski resort. Chris and Dan are both so friendly and very accomodating. The place is also near Echoland which has a lot of restaurants. It's like home away from home. We will be back for sure next winter!

It was so thoughtfully designed with high quality finishing, it was luxury! The location was amazing, beautiful views of the ranges and surrounded by rice fields (snow covered for us) - it was so picturesque! Close to shops, restaurants and slopes. And the owners Yoko and Kazu were BEYOND kind and helpful. An absolute must stay! Our favourite of all three weeks (and 6 accommodations) across Japan.CassandraYoung couple

It was clean, comfortable, staff bend over backwards for you and the facilities for pre/ post skiing were perfect- the warmest boot room ever! We had shuttles all over the resort whenever the staff were free to help us they were amazing. I have never been so upset to leave such a brilliant hotel crew! Mimi’s degustation, the Italian crew in the restaurant and cocktails (Dante- best cocktails we’ve had!)
