This was a real gem in Kandy! The view was amazing and the service from booking to departure was really accommodating and great. Very caring host and caretaker, nothing was too much trouble as I was travelling with my family and needed to ensure it was safe and the menu worked with our special requirements. It was really good value for money compared to the other properties in the area. I highly recommend this property and would stay there again next time we come to the area. Loved our stay. We ate a couple of meals from the property and the caretaker gave us vegetables and fruits grown at the premises which was awesome. The property was very new and clean and the internet worked very well in all the rooms we booked.

You will see the mountains, you will hear the birds when you wake up. The hotel provided an extra bad for our daughter - nice. The ambience and welcome were in colonial tradition. We had the 7 course dinner which was good after a relaxing day at the pool. Women in traditional dresses were collecting tea leaves from a small tea plantation in front of our chalet.

The hotel is up the hill from central Kandy, away from the hustle and bustle so it's more quiet. If you don't mind the hill, it's possible to walk to and from Kandy by foot. We opted to take a tuktuk back up to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We only had a quick breakfast at the wooden, chalet-style rooftop restaurant because we checked out early but it is a beautiful space.DorisYoung couple

You can not find this kind of accomodation for this price. Our host was really kind, and helpful, he pick us up in the train station when we arrive for free, and offering some really good tee for us. We felt we just arrive to home. The location also good, so quiet, sometimes we seen monkeys from our window, but you can find some bars and resaturants after 10-15 minutes of walk. I think this place is unique in Kandy.

We took the apartment which was a wooden chalet. It was so nice we didnt feel like leaving for Nuwara Eliya even after 2 days of stay. The owner was very nice and cordial. We were welcomed with traditional srilankan tea. Highly recommend this property, and take the apartment if you are coming with your partner
