This place exceeded our expectations. Because they have only 3 rooms, this place is really calm and one can relax. We chose this lodge because of the kitchen and it was the best decision ever. It has everything needed to cook and we could prepare our meals during our stay. It felt like our home. We were also lucky as we were alone when we arrived and we were upgraded to the bigger room. It is absolutely luxurious. The lodge itself is beautiful and really good decorated. Moses, Osman and the rest of staff were really nice and helpful at all times. The breakfast is excepcional. Osman prepares the best omelette with veggies and crepes with chocolate. We loved our fruit salad as well. We were looking forward to this every morning! The lodge is located in the village, a couple of meters from the beach, and you can meet all locals here, they are all really welcoming. We would love to come back and we recommend this lodge to anyone that wants a private place in one of the most beautiful places in Zanzibar.

The room is beautifully designed and quite comfortable, but need to keep in mind when booking that most rooms don't have air conditioning. It gets hot a night unless you leave all the shutters open, meaning that you only have a mosquito screen in doors. This doesn't provide much privacy and it's quite noisy in the room.
