The location was perfect, we loved the fact it was in the middle of no where as we are from London and loved the fact it was so peaceful and quiet! The owners of the property was so friendly and welcoming! The hut itself was actually bigger than what I thought! Plenty of room for 2 people and lovely facilities! The hot tub was a lovely added touch. We enjoyed ourselves so so much and cant recommend it enough for anyone that wants to have a few days away to explore Cornwall, the location is perfect to get around to some beautiful parts of Cornwall, we went to tintagel and was only a 30 min drive from there so was ideal. It was also my birthday when we stayed there and they went above and beyond by adding balloons and getting us a bottle of Prosecco for our stay. Was an absolutely flawless stay and would deffo love to come back here again! Thanks so much!

The breakfast at the Colonial restaurant was delicious and so filling. The staff was amazing, especially Terry, who was incredibly kind. I stayed for my birthday and everyone was so sweet, helping my boyfriend surprise me with decorations and a cake. The value for money is unbeatable. It’s the perfect way to experience Newquay.

Great location, within short driving distance from every point of interest in western Cornwall. The town itself, St.Day, is quite pretty. It was nice to have dinner and a short walk in the evening.

Although hidden away in the peaceful Cornish countryside, the lodge is just 4 miles from the cathedral city of Truro. Free private parking is available on site. A beautiful setting and an ideal place to stay for a relaxed holiday. The lodge was fully equipped for our needs and it was lovely to be able to have our dog with us. The owners were very friendly.
