The tiny villa is super cute! It is fully equipped (fridge, stove, oven, laundry, shower, bbq, bikes, and more). The location is a short (10 mins) walk down to the waterfront, and a quick drive to downtown Heraklion. Everything was perfect!

Probably the first place where we stayed where the reality exceeds the property photos. This is a gem! Beautiful, tastefully restored little house in a quiet remote village which is really close to Heraklion by car, just in 10 minutes you suddenly find yourself in a different world than the touristy seashore, a piece of traditional, rural Crete. But be aware, you do need a car - which is cheap to rent in Crete anyway. The owners left some tasty local products for us (honey, butter, marmalade, some bakery product, olive oil, even raki!) so we didn't have to care about the first breakfast. There is a place to park just in front of the house which is very convenient. (Don't be shy on the narrow streets that leads there, the car will fit).

Amazing stay and fantastic location! Costas is a very warm and helpful host. The house is located in an olive grove a few 100 meters from the calm beach of Maridati (and 1 min from the Maridatis restaurant) where you can go snorkeling as there are a lot of fish! The house is spacious and comfortable, it has a small terrace with a view of the surrounding. You will see nothing except the occasional sheep, rabbit or 'house' cat which we befriended. If you enjoy a quiet and totally relaxing stay, very close to an amazing and less known beach with few people and great swimming in cristal clear and calm waters, then don't hesitate. On top of that you have a taverna close by with amazing hosts (Eleni and Manolis) and great food. We will be back. Thank you, Costas, for the warm welcome and your kindness!

Fantastic location with everything you need in the apartment. Lovely view from the balcony and very peaceful to sit and relax. Marina the host was extremely helpful with local recommendations for food in the area and was very easy to communicate with and always replied to messages immediately. It is about 8 mins walk into the old town but there are many nice restaurants at the doorstep and it’s nice and peaceful during the day and evening and very quiet at nighttime to enjoy an uninterrupted sleep. Marina left us some lovely gifts of a cake, wine, flowers and a selection of local products as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and it will be such a memorable one. We would definitely recommend this property and if we return to Chania we would definitely stay here again.

It’s a place for people who are traveling by car and looking for a wonderful and authentic experience outside of touristic places. So: 1. It’s a perfect location 15 drive from Rethymno and about 1 hour drive from Chania. Beach is 5 minutes walk, wide fully equipped, free in case you buy something from the taverna, where you can have a lunch or dinner. 2. Facilities are very nicely taken care of, spotless clean, spacious, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, safe. 3. Atmosphere and hospitality are on the very high level, 5 minutes after arrival you feel yourself like a family member. Very honest, hardworking and kind family is running the place. You can eat there any time, the quality and size of the portions are exceeding any expectations.
