The location was amazing, pool was nice and shuttle bus drivers were very helpful.
The private room was fantastic, like a hotel room. Spacious with comfy bed and great A/C. The communal drinking water is chilled which is hard to come by. The hostel is also a popular restaurant which serves nice food and cocktails but there is also spaces just for guests to enjoy which includes a pool table. The nightclub wasn’t really our scene but a good option. A central location. They have a in house travel agent to book trips and shuttles with which was also great.
Flores island is really tiny so it’s just 5-6 minutes walk from the shuttle drop off point (I love Petén sign) to the hostel. There’s a small kitchen with 4 gas hobs + fridge + coffee machine + clean plates and utensils + spices. Refillable water provided. The family helps to wash the dishes for us which is really nice. There are 2 shared toilets outside and a shower, and they’re clean. Bed was clean and decent but I didn’t have a good sleep because it was toooooo hottttttt in the room
Great location, close to where the shuttles drops you off
Great location (in front of all shuttles), clean room and large bunk bed
Very central location. Good kitchen facilities. Free filtered water to top up with. Very friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of tours and shuttles can be arranged from the reception desk.
Even though it is a simple hostel it exceeded my expectations. The staff was really nice. They provide a towel and toiletries which is not common for a hostel - a big plus! Rooms are spacious, clean, and bright with big lockers, AC and fans (so you have everything you can possibly need). Bathrooms were clean. There are places to sit and chill/work etc. in the reception area plus a simple terrace. Wi-Fi works great too. It is just next to where all the tours/shuttles depart and it is close to everything.
Great location, friendly and helpfule stuff, thay bookt us shutle for many attractions and destinations., Tikal , Yashar and Rio Dolce. Beautiful balcony with great view, shops and restourats near the accomodation, air condition.
We booked a private cabin for the two of us and loved it. It was comfortable, clean and a really cool “waking up in the jungle”-experience. We could hear the monkeys in the morning and watch black squirrels climb around. The girls from the reception/restaurant were always there for questions and the food was very good… we would always come back. Also the beautiful lake is really just a few meters away with a wooden Pier, where you can chill and swim.
I only stayed one night in Finca Isabel but wish I could have stayed more. Had a wonderful wooden cabin on stilts with a veranda and bathroom underneath. Great value. Staff were very helpful, assisted in sorting transport and there are several activities to do from the hostel. But the best thing is the setting, on the edge of the jungle one feels very calm and close to nature.
