Property was on a secluded hillside, was truely a beautiful spot, as soon as we arrived we felt like we landed into our own version of a Croatian village home, Lemi the owners Dog was a absolute gem of a addition. As soon as we arrived our kids fell in love with him and wanted to take him home. Lemi is a long haired mature German shepherd that spends his days mornings out and about, and evenings back at the home on guard to mind the house and family in the evening at a distance. He really doesn’t show much interest but is beautiful to have around. And the kids loved him. The house has clearly had Marinko’s wife’s influence, some nice qwerky stylish finishing that sit perfectly in a farm stay. Singer sewing machine bathroom tables, tea cup light fittings. All in all, the house had everything we ever needed. And the star was the wood fired tub. The kids loved the place as they could make as much noise as they wanted, they had a playground and they had Lemi

First of all, the hosts are wonderful. They answered all of our questions before our stay, and when we arrived, they met us at the door and showed us around the cabin personally. They even treated us to some snacks and homemade brandy! I didn't know I like brandy, but now I love it. The cabin is gorgeous and spacious and has everything we needed, including a washing machine, games, ponchos, and all the little things we didn't have room to pack. The front porch is huge and was perfect for my afternoon nap. The surrounding village is lovely, and Plitvice Lakes is very close. If we ever return to this beautiful area, this will be the first booking we make.
