High in the hills, this was a beautiful, peaceful shady spot with very good facilities. There were many thoughtful touches like a fully built fire, and some basic tea and coffee and toiletries provided. Very well placed for Bellagio, and also there is a small town a short drive down the hill with groceries, bakery and cafe. A lovely stay.

We spent a couple of hours exploring Brienno, it was definitly worth it with all the granit paths, 1000s of steps, tunnels, amazing ancient catacomb-like tunnels under the houses with hidden built-out platforms over the lake. They should advertise it much more as it is truly an unforgettable experience.
