The guest lounge is located in the old original thatched farmhouse and has an open fireplace, wine cellar and small library for guests enjoyment. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this beautiful lodge. In fact, I would make sure to have an extra night or two at the beginning of a safari trip so that we could have a couple of nights at Ololo. We loved our room in the old stables-the bed and pillows were especially comfortable! The staff are wonderful and did everything they could to ensure our comfort. Meals were top notch and house wines and spirits were more than adequate. We took advantage of the morning and evening game drives and were thrilled to see such a variety of animals in a relatively small game park! We also really enjoyed our visit to Sheldrick Trust to see the work that they are doing to support orphaned elephants. Magical! Lastly the pickup and drop-off service makes navigating the airport and Nairobi a breeze.

The nearest airport is Wilson Airport, 18 km from The Annex at 64: Cozy, rustic cottage/treehouse. A beautiful home; what you see is what you get. It is even better than the images. The linen is very clean and the bed very comfortable. The space is very neat, clean and comfortable. All the amenities available as listed. Most importantly the host, Liz, her family and her right hand lady Ednah are very hospitable. They made the stay memorable and convenient. She’ll even help with late night/ early morning transfers. Loved every bit of it! I look forward to my next stay there.

Wonderful cottage in Karen — we stayed for two days to do laundry and regroup after a Safari. We chose the place to get a feel for living in Kenya after the Safari bubble and loved it. They did our laundry. We walked to Giraffe Center. Hit the Karen Blixen museum. And at lunch at Tin Roof Cafe and dinners at Talisman and Cultiva. Great stay. Easy to Uber about. Yummy breakfast.

Kenyatta International Conference Centre is 22 km from Nyati Hill Cottages, while Nairobi National Museum is 24 km from the property. The nearest airport is Wilson, 17 km from the accommodation, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Excellent location near to all of the attractions and with direct viewing into National park! A few animals even wandered over near to the property! Safe and Secure! We had 3 huts for our family of 5 (2 were bedrooms with bathrooms, 1 for kitchen & dining). Chalo was extremely attentive in arranging all of our taxis/day drivers and ordering food for lunch and dinner. Definitely recommend!
