The bikes were securely stored without issue, and given a complimentary drink while we waited. This is a boutique style hotel by the river. All staff were very pleasant and we had an enjoyable stay with a great selection for breakfast. We opted for a better room when booking and this was excellent - large with great sized shower and separate toilet. It was quiet, despite being in the centre of Bayonne, with a small balcony. We were able to enjoy a quiet drink when getting back to the hotel after dinner in the covered outdoor area and enjoyed a great breakfast the following morning. The staff were very attentive, we never had to 'catch someone's eye'.
