We stayed 2 nights at the beautiful Joen Village and were very impressed with the accommodation. The place looked very new and modern, located about 1km outside of the little village of Fushe-Studen. On the property there are a number of large modern villas, each with multiple rooms in multiple configurations. We had a 1-bedroom apartment complete with living room and full kitchen. The apartment was spacious, bright, clean and comfortable and all the furnishings and fittings were of good quality. We really liked all the hooks around the place to hang clothes – a rarity in most places here. The Wifi connection was lightning fast and the TV had a decent range of English language programming. There were lots of heaters/AC around the apartment, so no problem staying warm. We were able to park right next to our apartment which was very handy. There are a couple of decent mountain bikes on site that can be rented for 5 Euros per day. We gave them a good ride up into the mountains and they performed OK, but the roads around here are super rocky and rough. The onsite restaurant served us up a great dinner both nights, and the free breakfast was reasonably good as well. Overall we had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend this place to other travelers looking for a great base for exploring the national park.

Very tasty breakfast made from local food (especially herbal tea). Clear mountain water and fresh air. Very quiet rural (more distant) location but there are a few restaurants nearaby. Close to the mountains, lakes, rivers and waterfall. Nice panorama view from the room. The hosts were very kind, friendly and hospitable.

The owner was nice, he introduced us to the room, and he invited me to put my car in a safe parking in front of the hotel. He helped us to order a pizza, and his staff was so king that the guy became our guide for the village, even if we stayed only one night.
The elevator was missing, so it wasn't comfy to bring upper our luggages to the last floor. Within the bathroom, it's missing a cabin-shower,so it became full of water in the round of few mins.
Nothwithstanding the foregoing, it is a good place for one night stop.
