Breakfast was available until 10am and you can order what you like from the menu (a choice of omlette, pancakes, fried eggs, toast, butter, jam). The room was spacious and the doors/windows had mosquito nets which were necessary. In contrast, the dining area/restaurant is spacious and modern. The staff were friendly and laid back but their English was quite limited.

Really beautiful place, very cheap food and beer, roughly €2 a large bottle. Weather was fantastic and beaches unreal. Great restaurants very close by. We tried Family Restaurants twice and could not fault it. Super cheap meals

Some of the beaches are very nice.
Some of the beaches are very nice. The weather is very good and the food is very nice and very cheap. There are a few nice bars and clubs to go out in the evening but its not too loud. The village is still quite basic, lots of potholes and no road markings and many buildings are not permanant structures. Given the growth in the local economy I have no doubt this part of Albania will catch up very rapidly with other parts of Europe.

If you are looking for the quite sand beach, this is not your place. Try to stay in Sarande and take the bus to Ksamil just for the day. Ksamil is over crowded, every beach is a private one, and the music from the bars and hotels is too loud. Is not the quite paradise you are looking for.

About 15 to 20 years away from being what Greece and Croatia...
About 15 to 20 years away from being what Greece and Croatia are now. The town is not set up to welcome the influx of tourists it sees. There is no real pedestrian area. It looks rough and unmaintained. It is generally very dirty (trash everywhere).
It was marketed on Instagram as 'the Maldives of Europe'. It is more the 'Tenerife of the Balkans'.
The water is indeed gorgeous, but every inch of beach is packed and rented out, sometime at extortionate prices.
A couple of standouts:
- August Beach (mostly locals, plenty of space, no overly loud music)
- The Blue Water Hotel restaurant (and the staff is excellent)
- Mëndra Traditional restaurant
- The Mussel House restaurant
Recommend renting a car and making Albania a road trip. Visit Ksamil only for a couple of days, max.

We visited the beachbar and restaurant near the Orange beach...
We visited the beachbar and restaurant near the Orange beach club and pods sunrise, the beach area I think was Plazhi Ksamilit - I have never seen water that blue!
The food was really nice and we could rent a sun lounger near by for about 30 euro for 2, and we stayed there for the day.
They have really good food options, pancakes for breakfast, omelettes, pizza, salads etc for lunch so lots of variety.
The place we rented for the day had bar service which was also great. If you're looking for a mix between a chill day and a really good nightlife then this is the place for you.
There was a foam party happening next door to us which looked like a good time if that is your cup of tea!
There seemed to be something for everyone and I would definitely visit again in the future.
We met people there who were just doing a day trip from Corfu which is very doable also and is enough time to get a good feel of the place.
The staff is very kind, and helpful. They really cared of customers. Big respect! Thank You !!- Faleminderit !! You are Super nice family!
There are many restaurants, and shops near the hotel. Also the bus stop is 30 meters away, this is a bonus. And the bus goes to Saranda every 30 minutes.
Ksamil was also a very interesting and safe place. Ksamil is full of life, nice beaches, and a lot of retaurants. For vegetarians there can be some challenges, but no worries, you find something to eat.
Try Albania, you can't be dissapointed!!
Our one-night stay at Hotel Meta in Ksamil was a wonderful experience. We would recommend much more time at this hotel- our stay was far too short with plenty to do a short drive, best beaches, incredible mesmerising sunsets and heaps of great restaurants . The family who ran the hotel were the most helpful of our 8 day Albanian holiday. Thank you to the kind and informative family.
Perfect location opposite a few fabulous beaches and lots of restaurants. But still managed to be a quiet location for a good night’s sleep.
I had the pleasure of staying at the Blue Eye Hotel in Ksamil, Albania, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The exceptional staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Our hotel room was impeccably clean, and housekeeping did a fantastic job every day. The added bonus of being allowed to enjoy the pool in the evening, courtesy of the owner, was a delightful touch. Also, the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I recommend this hotel! 👍🏻
I loved the breakfast! It was the best breakfast buffet spread we had on our whole trip with lots of fruits and grilled vegetables plus the usual eggs, cheese, breads, etc. plus you get to eat on the rooftop terrace with beautiful views. The bed was comfortable and room was clean. The staff are all super kind, and there’s lots of people working there so they’re not short staffed. There is a beach right across the street, but we drove to the main Ksamil Beach for our beach day.
This is the most amazing hotel in ksamil. Good price, room with a fridge and balcony. Close to all the hot spots.
I invited my mother for holidays here and the staff made all our dreams become true. The hotel was perfectly clean and they cleaned every other day. Breakfast, coffee. Very close to the beach. Beautiful view from the restaurant. With gym in the basement. I loved it and my mother too!!! Thank you for making our time in ksamil so perfect.
We absolutely loved staying at Hotel Milo! Right in the center of town, close to supermarket, restaurants & bars, 5 mins walk to the beach, near bus stop to Saranda. Hotel was very clean. The room was comfortable with plenty of room, kitchen facilities and a balcony with a lovely view out to the lagoon. The hosts also went out of their way to help us and make sure we had the best holiday - thank you, we will stay again when we come back to Ksamil!!
Everything here was wonderful. As an American traveling to Albania for the first time I didn't know what to expect but my expectations were exceed. The hosts are SO wonderful and have a great family. We even watched "The Grinch" with their daughter and tried their homemade Raki! Great location, easy walk to multiple beaches and restaurants and they were super helpful with their recommendations.
Best position in Ksamil above the hotels and beach. It was a short walk down the hill to the beach and beach bars. There was good parking and it was easy to find.
The real highlight of this guesthouse is the family run atmosphere, the exceptional terrace and really good food. We are here most evenings looking across over a view of the islands, the bay and Corfu majestically in the background.
The palce is the perfect location if you want to be near the beach. The hotel offers the best view of the beach. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great. The on site restaurant is also very good. Close to the bus stop to head back to Sarante. You can also catch the bus for Burtrint just outside the entrance. Good places nearby to eat and a local grocery store is also very close.
Well located Hotel within Ksamil. Hotel also has a private beach area which is 25min walk from the hotel but definately worth it. That part of the beach is less crowded. Breakfast was good albanian standard. The Staff was nice and had good recommandation for restaurants.
It is lovely Hotel close to the all beach and big Supermarket. The room had everything we need and well organized. The swimming pool is very pleasant for a family. It located perfectly in center of Ksamil. It was not only value for money but also a very pleasant stay.
Very good location in the center of Ksamil. Near the beach and restaurants. The owners are very kind. The room was perfect, it's clean, with very good equipments. It's for sure the best place I have been in Albania. For sure I recommend this place. You will enjoy.
Absolutely everything.
The hotel was at the heart of Ksamil, there are markets and bakeries near the hotel and the beach was extremely close! You have absolutely everything you need.
The cleanliness was 100/100! The kind ladies clean the rooms everyday!
The hotel is new and clean. Located a bit off of Ksamil centre, but very close to several nice beaches. The view from the rooms is very. nice, overlooking the Ksamil islands. Staff were nice and welcoming. There’s private parking on site.
Nice location with a beautiful view of Ksamil beach just a few steps away from the hotel. Spacious room. Adri the host who received us ensured the checkin went smooth and was reachable by phone and whatsapp.
Great experience for our first time in Albania! The host is very friendly and welcoming, the hotel is new and very clean and comfortable! Easy access to the beach! We will comeback for sure!
A beautiful and spotless hotel . The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was the best one we had in Albania! I would definitely recommend !
Clean and nice room with balcony and proper shower (not always the case in Albania). Best breakfast we’ve had during our 9 day trip. 5 minutes from beach.
Friendly staff, always available.
One of the best view of Ksamil
Peaceful and perfect to relax
Close to the beach (5 minutes by car or 15 minutes walk)
