Our hosts were exceptional. Neither spoke English but upon arrival they invited us to join them for a Raki and we had a lovely evening socialising with them through the use of google translate.
It was great value for money -clean apartment and comfy bed.

Very very clean … the Albanian family were welcoming and kind. We would return. Nothing is too much trouble. If your room is downstairs and the dogs are barking simply close the bathroom window. You will be awoken be the cluck cluck of the families chicken.. it’s worth the cluck as the eggs are superb

I was very pleasantly surprised by Pilo Lala. I just hoped for a quiet and clean room but the room was also large and spacious, with a nice high ceiling, and the bathroom was also excellent. The bed was so soft and comfortable, I didn't want to get out.
There were a few wee niggles. The lift was broken the day I stayed, which was a pain. The toilet roll holder was also broken and the iron only worked in one of the sockets - but they provided an iron when I asked for it! The staff were friendly and helpful, although very busy during mealtimes.
The location is perfect, just off the central square, and the restaurant also offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, for an extra payment. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
