The breakfast was good. Breakfast was at 8.00am and we were a little rushed as we had to leave at 8.30am. Otherwise no complaints. There was a lovely restaurant just down the road from the hotel.

Extremely close to the airport, perfect for staying the night before an early flight. They provided early breakfast from 3am onwards, which consisted of (among others) pieces of fruit, croissants, cornflakes, cake, breakfast cookies, yoghurt.
Even though there aren't many other places for eating in the area, the hotel restaurant is very decently priced.
The room felt brand new, with a big and lovely shower and super comfortable bed. At 4am we simply walked from the hotel to the airport in 5 minutes, though they offer free shuttle service as well if you have a lot of luggage.
They printed our boarding passes for us as well.
Hotel Iliada is set 9 km from the centre of Tirana, on the highway towards Durres. The hotel building is especially designed and features an on-site restaurant and bar with a terrace.

The breakfast was ok, when it came (a tasty if rather greasy omelette), but there was no one else in the restaurant and the young waiter seemed very surprised to see me. I was offered milk to drink; anything else, including water, was only available for an extra charge.
