The owner Irina is a total joy and such a fabulous lady. Her positive presence is reason enough to stay here. She knows so much and helps to organize good-value taxis to visit the stunning monasteries nearby and marshroutkas to Yerevan etc. A wonderfully peaceful place to stay and switch off for a while. You can also eat good breakfast and dinner here.

His mother met me and showed me the apartment. The top floor apartment is lovely with an amazing view of the city with balconies on both sides. Just a side note, it is in a soviet building so keep that in mind with your expectations but it is a very nice place. There are markets, banks and pharmacies just a stone's throw away. Transport to the rest of Armenia is about a 5 minute walk away.

This was a pretty interesting experience for me, not a usual stay, do not be prepared for a convenient hotel stay. Unfortunately we weren't there on the right season, so bees were passive and quite. The owner couple are extremely hospitable and do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I think there is no better way to stay in Alaverdi than this unique location. Just make sure you have a car or can afford the taxi ride to and from the center (ca. 500 dram), since walking the hill up can be really annoying ;)RobertGermany

There is a TV and a fridge in the room. It was super clean and comfortable. Location is in quiet Amoj village, easily reachable by car, 15min from Alaverdi. We had a delicious and big breakfast with the owners, they are super nice :)

Narene and Edmon are excellent hosts who went extra mile to help us with our tour and transfer arrangements. Alaverdi was the first place we visited in Armenia from Georgia. We liked its attractions, and the wine ( inexpensive from the supermarket) and roasted whole chicken we bought in the small town there.
