The view behind Meininger hotel was beautiful. Snow capped alps. There is a big shopping centre below the hotel which is super helpful. They play sound of music on some days which was fun. There is a bar below which helps in the evenings. Bathroom and shower was really nice.

Perfect location with a wonderful view on the mountains and the castle, Hohensalzburg. We didn't have particularly nice weather, but the view was wonderful nevertheless. The hotel has it's own parking, which is very convenient if you travel by car as we did. The building sits in a calm area, surrounded by school buildings, so it's really calm.
Breakfasts were perfect. I love me some good hotel breakfast and, oh my god, did this place deliver :D
Hotel room - we had a small room, but it was comfy. Clean, comfortable beds, just the pillows were a little too big. But that's really just a minor thing :)
Staff - very nice and helpful. We maanged to lose one of our room key cards and they gave us another one on the spot, with no additional fee.
The comfortable 4-star, family-owned and -run Atel Hotel Lasserhof in Salzburg enjoys a quiet location in the centre of the town, close to main train station, only 4 km from the airport.

It's a fairly old hotel, I think, that has been pretty carefully renovated. It's no frills, but for a night or two it is excellent. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful.
The atmosphere was very magical, there was only nature and fresh air around, I completely relaxed. I recommend the restaurant in the hotel, very tasty!
