The ideal location for a quick recovery after a day at work or after a busy walk around the neighborhood. A new and pleasant spa area with terraces for relaxing with breathtaking views of the Traunsee. Beautiful private beach, nice restaurant. A wonderful room (however, without a kettle, tea and coffee, as well as without skin moisturizers, without hygiene kits in the bathroom at all, which is a bit unexpected for a hotel of this level). Except for the noted moments, it is ideal, even if you are without a car: a taxi to the center of Gmunden costs 15 euros, you need to order a taxi either the day before or 1 hour before the planned departure.

Pretty little town on the lake, with a couple of excellent restaurants nearby serving local cuisine mostly. Lots to see, lovely walks, hikes and drives. One glaring problem they need to address ASAP. Very nice city with a breathtaking view with a castle on the lake and high hills covered in clouds. The lake is crystal clear, so perfect for swimming, or sailing. There are ferrys that can take you to other parts of the lake. Just an absolutely gorgeous and clean city with very welcoming people. Many art galleries and all sorts of exhibitions. We also reccomend Hotel Zum Goldenen Hirschen in the city centre with a luxury design and very nice staff.

Amazing lake town, with a special sea-lake architecture. Small but charming and the locals are very friendly. It was also a comfortable walk to the Grunberg cable car. If you have a sweet tooth, you will enjoy the superb cakes and patisseries at both Grellinger and La Sonett. The apartment itself was well-equipped and I appreciated the air conditioning on hot days. For me, the location and the nice people at La Sonett made this a perfect stay for one person travelling alone with no car.

Everything is super clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is warm at night inside the room and shower is great. The breakfast (starting 730am) was very good too. I would like to thank staff member Ms Day for making my stay wonderful. The view from my room is great. Note the supermarket is at right downstairs the hotel. It is closed on Sunday but opens 715am on Monday so it is convenient.
