The location of the hotel is perfect, as you are in the city centre and you can walk everywhere. The staff was very nice and helpful. Hotel room was very clean and cosy, towels were changed every day. It is a quiet area if you want to relax. We also liked very much the blinds on the window.
Breakfast was rich and tasty.
Salzburg is a beautiful town with many attractions, so it's worth visiting.

Nothing much to do in Grödig, but it's perfectly situated for car travels to nearby nature attractions (and there are many within 30 min drive) and for visiting Salzburg by public transport. The village has everything one needs for comfy stay (supermarket, couple of restaurants...)

We made a family trip around Salzburg, but we do not like to stay in cities, so we stayed in this little village, which is just outside Salzburg. We have visited the Salt Mine in Hallein, which was wxcellent and the Untersberg, using the lift, with a very nice outlook to the area around.NorbertAustria

Bus from this hotel is brilliant as it’s at the end of the 21 bus route, to Salzburg it’s every 30 mins, sometimes every 20. We got bus to and from hotel for three days and great experience, pretty easy to find where to get it from in Salzburg on google maps - quite a few stops in the city for it. The bedroom and bathroom are a little tight for space, but the mattress is comfortable and the shower is very good. There is one flight of stairs up to the apartment. It is on a quiet street within walking distance to grocery stores. We recommend.

The host is really friendly and accommodating and knows a lot about what to do in the area. The pension is located in a beautiful area with a lovely view and the bus to Salzburg is really close by. The centre of Grodig has a couple of really nice places to eat and grab a drink. I would definitely recommend staying here.
