Very helpful and hospitable owners, flexible, smooth communication in English. The host provided us with the Phyrn-Priel Active Card for all days of our stay, which we appreciated. The location of Gästehaus Fortuna is ideal - near to grocery shop and to restaurants, still very quiet. Ideal to go around Hinterstoder or to drive to Vorderstoder or Spital.

I like this place very much.
I like this place very much. It is a small picturesque village and perfect for skiing with children. You can walk everywhere and you will find a choice of restaurants to have a pleasant dinner. We went to Dorfstub'n, Jaidhaus and Stoda and all three were very nice. Due to Covid some of the other restaurants we called only serve own hotel guests, though. Hinterstoder is also worth a trip in summer if you like being active.

The town of Hinterstoder it's really small, just a stop between hiking/skiing and relaxing - you reach the end of the town in 5 minutes walk..
Anyway you'll find there anything you need, from pharmacy to bank to minimarket.
In summer many hotel offer the Pyhrn-Priel AktivCard that you can use for the cable car to go up the mountain and many other discount.
Around Hinterstoder are many path to walk, in summer you can cool yourself also in the river (if water is not so cold for you :P).
A walk along the river bring you to the Kneipp-Park and to a wonderful (but small) waterfall.

Nice little village, but completely dead during summer, we barely found one restaurant open in the evening when we arrived, we could have starved if it were not open. I'm sure it's very animated during skiing season, but not in summer. We used it as a base to go and explore elsewhere (the lakes, the abbeys). We also used swimming pools located at a driving distance between 20 min to 1 hour. There is nothing in Hinterstoder to pass the time other than cycling and hiking, both of which I don't do. The nature around is wonderful, no doubt about that, and it can be just the right place for someone who wants a quiet and relaxing holiday.
Wow, we had a beautiful apartment with an amazing view of the mountains! We all slept well and also enjoyed the large living/dining area for meals and games at the table. The location was perfect for both our downhill skiers as well as the cross country skiers in the group. Unfortunately, most restaurants in Hinterstoder were closed when we were there but there is a grocery store across the street so we shopped and cooked at home for most meals. We enjoyed lunch at the cafe on one occasion.
The aparthotel is located in a wonderful area. The hosts are very welcoming.
The apartment looks amazing. The wonderful view. Huge yard. Mowed grass. Place to walk the dog. Playground. A lot of places for hiking.
Fresh air!
Free parking. And they have a lot of parking spaces.
Complete silence between 10.00 p.m. and 8.00 a.m.
An ideal location for families with children.
I regretted that I booked only 5 nights.
SENSATIONAL!
Super hospitable and helpful owner. Cornelia just responded to all our queries. It is an ideal vacation apartment with everything nearby, yet quiet and peaceful. We stayed in a two-room apartment and it was very comfortable for two couples to enjoy themselves in a group or have some privacy. There were books to read and games to play. The Apartment is an ideal location to go around Hinterstoder and Vorderstoder.
Breakfasts made by the hotel owners were great. The room and hotel are well equiped for skiers. Moreover the rooms were cleaned every day (including change of towels). The skibus station is 3minutes walk (well connected to the Hinterhofer Bahnhof+Linz). The new skilift is 12min walk or 2 stops by skibus.
We had a wonderful time at ALPRIMA aparthotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. Plus we got free entrance to the swimming pool nearby and to all the cableways in Hinterstoder, which was great. Thanks again, we are definitely coming back soon.
The Hinterstoder ski area is really amazing. during our stay in December the weather was quite warm and still the conditions for skiing were great. the apartment is really beautiful and spaceous. we appreciated, that we could bring our dog.
Everything was great, very nice apartment, rooms were large and clean, kitchen very well equipped. Bonus espresso machine: morning espreso in Hinterstoder was like a dream.
