An unusual concept is modern rooms and a restaurant located among the mountains, with a farm with sheep, an apiary and even a garden with huge ornamental stones brought by the owner from different parts of the world. Staff/ Owners really try to make this a nice experience but the hotel is dated (furniture, etc.). Restaurant has a limited menu but food is good and there is a good selection of local wines. Given that most guests are sales people travelling through there wasn't much atmosphere ... everyone pretty much kept to themselves.

Breakfast was custom prepared after arrangement the previous evening. Perfectly cooked poached eggs, not an easy trick! Lovely homemade breads.
The kitchen is run by a superb chef. The evening meals were absolutely tremendous. I had liver, onions and bacon one evening which was the best I had ever had. Bravo!

Very quiet place, fantastic to have a rest. Around it is hilly, so if you are riding a bicykle or motorcycle you will have some fun. It is, I believe, very nice place if you leave in Vienne and you want to find a nice weekend location.
