Clean and renovated room, very good value for the money. Right next to the ski lift and outside of the main road to Mariazell, thus quiet. Good breakfast with a reasonable choice of food, great bread and friendly staff! Right in between the Erlausee, Ötschergräben Canyon and Gemeidealpe which makes it excellent location.

We were staying at the apartmans of the hotel, which were easy to find, close to the restaurants and the Erlaufsee and the Gemeindealpe. They were rather small flats, well equipped for staying for weeks, with a beautiful view on the surroundings. The place offers enough space for a larger company to have fun inside or on the terrace. The private wellness room had a sauna, enough for at least 6 people, also well equipped and with a terrace and view. Beds comfy, everything super clean, pleasure for the eye.
Pension Zuser is 500 metres from the Gemeinealpe Ski Lift, and 200 metres from Mitterbach Train Station. The free ski bus stops in front of the property.

Quiet location, except for the 7am and 7pm church bells, the church is directly across the road. Breakfast was plentiful, with variety. Room was as advertised. Staff friendly, spoke English and gave great recommendations for local dinning. Lots of easy parking.

The Restaurant was very good and also the members of Staff were very helpful and flexible! We traveled with our dog which was also very welcome. The location is great for different activities around the area.
Just 500 metres from the Bürgeralpe Ski Area, JUFA Hotel Erlaufsee is next to a sports centre 2 km from the centre of Mariazell. A spa area is available.

Mitterbach is easily accessible via public transport with the Mariazeller trainline which runs nearly every hour or so. It is a small town so beware of the opening and 'rest times' of local supermarkets and restaurants. The choice is limited. That said, there are a couple of cosy, family-run places and it's a gorgeous area with loads of scenic hiking routes in a truly stunning area. Well worth visiting!
