A small town with a pleasant atmosphere.
A small town with a pleasant atmosphere. Beautiful nature in the surroundings, a beautiful view of the mountains, a great starting point for trips. An excellent pizzeria (Pizzeria La Piazza) on the square in the center of the city (next to the town hall), a pleasant walk around the Ritzensee, tasty products from the goat farm (stand on the circuit around the Ritzensee).

This is a great town. I went for the Jazz Festival.
This is a great town. I went for the Jazz Festival. The folks at the Tourism office should be commended for a fantastic job putting it on, and for the help they provided by email and in person. I plan to return to Saalfelden not only for more music and hiking next summer, but to cross country ski around Ritzensee and into the valleys. There are also biking routes that I'm interested in. The town is well served by trains, including Railjet Express, and has a bus system. Accommodations closer to the Bahnhof would be great, though.

Perfect place for skiing in Leogang-Saalbach-Hinterglemm...
Perfect place for skiing in Leogang-Saalbach-Hinterglemm skiresort (10 min's away from Leogang). Super clean and beautiful view to the mountains! Still a bit pricy even we booked late and in the main winter-season (260€ per day).

We loved the apartment. It was beautifully furnished and kitchen was amazing. It is small but it is very well equipped. It even has a Bora stove. And the coffee machine was a DeLonghi Esperesso machine with freshly grounded coffee beans for each coffee.
We cannot say much about the "Bauernhof" experience since we stayed in winter for skiing. Leogang is just a short drive away.
The family Breitfuss is extremely friendly!
Very excited about the apartment. Comfortable, high beds. Stylish, warm and cozy interior. Breathtaking view to the mountains. Few minutes by car from the Leogang, we were surprised about the skiing there. Two long cabin lifts from Leogang directly up and then you can go from the mountain top directly down, no stops or smaller lifts needed. Super!
Quiet Austrian village house, near Saalfelden. Breakfast and supper on balcony, with mountain views. A lot of trekking options nearby, and within 20 minutes in all directions much more: Leogang, Lofer, Hochkönig, Zell am See, Steinernes Meer, Ramsau. Dense network of trekking & cycling tracks. Perfect community bus network (Salzburger Verkehr).
Nice hotel with pleasant staff and surrounded by the Alps. Delicious breakfast, thank you Norbert for your warm hospitality.
Thank you Kristian (reception) for the info and helping us with the check in process.
There is a nice walking trail that starts from the hotel parking into the woods, peaceful and serene forest with tall pine trees.
We have just come to the end of an amazing stay at the Ramseiderhof. The room had everything we could ask for and was really homely. The host was great at helping us with our Saalfelden-Leogang and meeting us after our late arrival. We were also provided with a cot and highchair for our roddler. We would highly recommend!
Christian is the nicest host we ever met - very friendly, very supportive - the perfect host (who has a lot of insider tips for 'things to do/see' in the area) - the apartment is 15 minutes away from the ski resort Leogang - it was a great experience overall - we can definitely recommend this place :)
it’s location. it is located in a farms area and mountains around the hotel
the hotel staff were very nice. they provide my wife a fabulous cake for her birthday.
we also had a problem in our room with AC. they spare no efforts to pleases us and solve this issue.
The hotel is in the heart of the city. For going to ski is perfect. The Skibus stop is just 1 minute away. Breakfast in very good and the staff was very friendly. The wellness area is very nice and very quiet. We spent a lot of time there after the ski session.
Small alp hotel with nice atmosphere and great staff. Comfortable and big rooms with great and functional furnishing. Room was very quite. There was a restaurant in the ground floor in case one is too tired to find somewhere to eat after a busy day.
One bedroom apartment was spacious, and had an extra room with two bunk beds - although small a good addition. Restaurant in the Hotel was convenient, even had live music! Did not use the Spa so cannot comment.
Nice house, cosy and very clean room, delicious breakfast. The house is located in a quiet place with lovely views of the Alps. 15 minutes by car to the Leogang-Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Fieberbrun ski resort.
Staff was really friendly. Hotel was clean and nice with sufficient equipment. In the hotel we used parking, bike store, swimming pool, biliard, ping-pong table,...
Great, beautiful and very well equipped (except that a microwave is missing) apartment with a nice view on the mountains. Close to Leogang. Kind and helpful hosts.
The hotel was a very special renovating building with interesting interior design. The room was very clean and warm. The wellness area is definitely a plus.
